Prevent CNC Machine down time and substantial financial loss with knowledgeable and reliable service.  It is important to protect your CNC Machine investment with regular Preventive Maintenance Services. We recommend regular Preventive Maintenance service every 6 months. We offer additional programs simply contact us to inquire.

We offer two service plans for preventative maintenance.

We require a 4 hour minimum on labor. Travel and mileage are based on the location that the field, or service tech has to travel from. If an overnight stay is required, this will be charged to the customer.

Yearly Program

  • Labor: 85.00/hr per visit
  • Travel 55.00/hr

6 month program

  • Labor: 75.00/hr per visit
  • Travel 55.00/hr
  • mileage .55/mi

PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE

Machine Alignment: 

1. Check and Adjust Machine Level.

2. Check all axis travel

3. Check and Adjust Backlash Settings

4. Remove Gibbs, Clean, Inspect and Readjust

5. Install new way wipers

6. Inspect and Adjust All Straps

7. Inspect Turcite on Table/Saddle

 

Way Oil System Maintenance: 

8. Check pump for proper operation, pressure etc.

9. Clean Tank and Change Filter

10. Inspect all way oil lines

11. Change way oil manifolds or way oil injectors

 

Pneumatic System Maintenance: 

12. Check air regulator for leaks or faulty seals

13. Check solenoids and air valves for leakage or malfunction

14. Drain and clear water trap on air line filter

15. Drain, clean and refill lubrication

16. Check main pressure ATC Maintenance

17. Remove covers and clean

18. Check and adjust alignments

19. Check slide and turret operation, and lubricate

 

Spindle System Maintenance: 

20. Check spindle belts

21. Check spindle temperature and adjust chiller card

22. Check chiller system and adjust, and clean pump filter, fill if necessary

23. Check drawbar for proper retention and pressure at tool in/out (USE SVT0066)

24. Check and adjust spindle tram

25. Change Spindle Motor filter if applicable

 

Electrical System Maintenance: 

26. Check all connections, wires, boards, connectors etc…

27. Check and adjust sin/cos on clock card (DC machines only)

28. Check ground integrity

29. Adjust position loop gain

 

Miscellaneous: 

30. Check and clean all fans for proper operation

31. Check and fill all fluid levels

32. Check and adjust rigid tapping if applicable

33. Check scales if applicable

 

Preventive Maintenance Service runs approximately 8 to 10 hours depending on the size, condition and last service period of the equipment.

Our customers are responsible for providing all fluids filters and metering units as needed at time of PM service. Our technicians will be happy to assist you on a check list.
